BBC Four is a British television channel, its primary role is to reflect a range of UK and international arts, music, and culture. It should provide an ambitious range of innovative, high-quality programming that is intellectually and culturally enriching.
The brief was to come up with a story for a new BBC Four mini poster series entitled of “Time and Place”. The series would be shown on the London Underground, in the tube trains and on the escalators, for two weeks only, prior to launch.
My final story is conveyed through 5 tube and escalator posters telling a story about the early morning life in Royal Harbour, in Ramsgate. To catch an eye of the busy crowd in the rush, I chose consistent style for all of the 5 posters with boosting sunrise orange colour to help the narrative—something that can stand out without too many colours.
